“Film photography has been my entry into photography and it`s helped me to see and appreciate more of the beauty in my life and everyday moments. With my film photos, I hope to capture those moments and share them, to encourage others to appreciate the beauty in their own lives.”

“There is plenty of fun and beauty in mediocrity. And I think that applies to my photography as well.“

“This photo is a double exposure of the same view of Mount Rainer with the camera flipped the other way for the second exposure. I try to use double exposures a lot in my photography in hopes that it makes people reimagine the world around them. It also forces me to trust the process since I truly have no idea how the image will turn out.“

“I work as a graphic designer in Berlin and Ipicked up analog photography about a year ago to challenge myself with a new medium. There`s been a lot of trial and error, but the excitement of seeing how they turn out, whether it`s good or bad, is what makes it really special for me.“

“This shot is from my first 35mm camera, a beat up Praktica that never really wanted to focus right... I`ve kept shooting since then but looking back at some of the more decent early ones (some were DREADFUL and some still are...) makes me happy that I`ve kept going, and focused on where I`m going next.”

“It was a journey to rediscover myself and creativity. I was accompanied by my first Minolta x700, since then we have been inseparable. I was a long time without taking pictures (I had almost no time because of my work). I really like the way it makes me feel, it abstracts me from this noisy world. You just have to observe and let yourself go...”
