“My name is Christian. I am 54 and still regularly use my AT-1 I bought at 19. However, I have a different approach now wanting to test every format and every era. Also, now I develop b&w and C-41 and have just bought chemistry for slide. That very photo was my first test of a fisheye at the Mercedes museum. I like testing and I often carry half a dozen cameras and I wanted to compare HP5+ and Delta 3200 both at 1600. Unfortunately I am sometimes absentminded and I left the Diana on bulb mode after pinhole tests a month ago. Thus many photos are blurry but I discovered it before ending that roll I was using, thus the Porsche is not blurry.”

“I don't have a specific style. I just like to capture moments around me. With film, I love the moment when you get your film developed (especially after some time), and it brings back the memories.”

“I think my style of photography reflects my interest and passion for nature. I am a person that gets joy from small things in our daily life. For example, just the golden evening sun shining trough my window. It helps me rewind and slows down the todays busy lifestyle. That`s what I`m trying to show in my work. Peaceful slow moments that bring joy.”

“It's always nice to slow down and take in these moments and shooting in film forces you to do just that."

“I haven`t done many long exposures in my life and very few on film. My light meter wasn`t helping me out much so I just took an educated guess on the shutter speed (4sec). I was pretty relieved when the scans came in.”

“Taken in nyc while travelling with family, I use my dad's camera he got in the late 80s. I love taking film photos while travelling and for memories! I love the process of shooting film, getting the pictures back and putting them in an album for looking back on in the future!”

"My artistic imagery combines fluid creativity and a mixture of vibrant colors which depict a storytelling visual diary comprised of different film Photography art , as my mind as the ink and the camera as the paintbrush which creates timeless art on film. The image shown above (taken at the "Rush Cars Parkoff ")depicts the roaring ferocity of the vehicle preparing to "lift off" from its origin.”
