“The 1980s camera given to me by my godfather is a frequent travel companion. This photo was taken in Sicily, a land of lemons and vespas. In particular, this chandelier is located in the oldest royal residence in Europe, the Royal Palace of Palermo. If we get a bit philosophical, the camera can be seen as a time blender, connecting centuries-old creations with a simple click of a button on the top right corner of this tiny device.”

“My style of photography can be described as «spontaneous catching photography with an emphasis on light and shadow».It involves capturing natural scenes in unexpected moments when the interplay of light and shadow creates a unique atmosphere and adds drama to the shots. Photography in this style reflect the dynamic interaction of natural elements, highlighting the variability and beauty of natural lighting.”

“For this photo I wanted to do a modern interpretation of the types of photos I saw in my history books. It`s kind of surreal to think that maybe one day the photos we take might end up in a textbook.”

“Photography composition is a very important process while I`m capturing pictures. Combining all of the elements may feel like a challenge sometimes, but the way an image is presented and how the viewer will look at it can really depend on that.”

“I remember looking out the window and immediately dashing up the stairs to grab my film camera, determined to capture the moment. This view, once framed by my building`s window, holds deep significance for me. This mountain symbolises a period of profound transformation during a particularly special time in my life.”
