“This photo was taken in AL-Mubarakiya Market in Kuwait city, it`s one of my favorite places in my country and it`s my go-to place for some Street photography. Taking photos of those small shops and vendors there somehow brings happiness to me!”

“I wanted to get more experimental with my street photography so I impulsively bought a red-colored lens filter and paired it with Cinestill 800t. These pigeons had been circling Pioneer Square in Downtown Portland so I waited for the right moment to release the shutter on my Canon Elan and voilà … this ominous photo.”

“I`ve been documenting abandoned places around the world for the last 3 years now.
This place used to be a reform school for boys. It was opened in 1900 and closed in 2011. Unfortunately it has a very dark history. Over a 100 reports of abuse and deaths, many of the bodies buried in its grounds and unidentified.
The closure of this place specifically marks the end of a 111 year dark history for my home state, Florida. Now abandoned and reclaimed by nature.
Its closure signifies justice for the unknown but not forgotten..”

“I shoot images as artistic expression. Art is often not understood, but it is felt. My intention is to achieve that feeling through my images.”

“Hong Kong is and will always be my home, but I`m uncertain of the next time I`ll return. Therefore, I have taken the time to preserve the memories and capture the essence of Hong Kong before it potentially disappears.”

“For this photo in particular, I knew the sky would pop because of the Lomo Turquoise, and it definitely did! Overall, with photography I like showing the beauty in mundane scenes or places people don`t get to see very often :)”

“This lock wall could have been just another lock wall that is a poor copy of Pont Des Arts, but the words “what is love” created an interesting juxtaposition, questioning what the locks symbolise. I came across this while on a photo walk with plans to capture a location near by.
I am an amateur photographer, who shoots a wide range of subjects, but collectively I call the natural or urban landscapes”
